Acquisition costs were climbing 17% quarter-over-quarter.

The client — a top-tier European sportsbook — had hit the ceiling on paid social. Every additional dollar spent on Meta and Google was returning fewer first-time depositors. They needed a channel that operated outside the auction. We proposed an exclusive ambassador deal with a major recording artist whose audience overlapped 78% with their target geography.

02 — The Approach

We treated the artist like a media channel, not a billboard.

Instead of static brand placements, we built three integrated activations: a music video product placement, a live-streamed VIP event with custom betting markets, and a six-week social content series with native, in-character storytelling. Every touchpoint had a unique tracking code and custom landing page.

What does it cost to work with you?
We work on a hybrid retainer plus performance model. The retainer covers strategy, talent management, and reporting infrastructure (typically $15K–$45K/month depending on scope). Performance is structured as RevShare or CPA on tracked conversions. We don't take percentage of media spend — that misaligns incentives.
How do you handle brand safety?
Every talent goes through a four-stage vetting process: public-record review, audience demographics audit, prior partnership audit, and a personal interview. We turn down roughly 70% of inbound talent applications. We also enforce reverse vetting — we screen brands we represent talent to. Bad actors compromise everyone.
Which licenses do you operate under?
Rollers itself is a talent agency, not a licensed gambling operator. We work with operators across MGA (Malta), Curaçao eGaming, Isle of Man, UKGC, and select offshore jurisdictions. We do not work with operators in markets where we cannot verify regulatory compliance — including any market where our talent's audience would be illegally targeted.
How fast can you launch a campaign?
Standard timeline is five to eight weeks from contract signature to first live placement. Rush engagements are possible — we've launched in twelve days — but they cost more and we reserve them for existing clients. The bottleneck is rarely creative; it's tracking infrastructure and contractual cleanliness.
Do you work with crypto casinos?
Yes — selectively. We require a verifiable license, a published RTP audit, and clean payment rails. We have working relationships with several Tier-1 crypto operators on Curaçao and Anjouan. We do not work with operators that cannot demonstrate KYC/AML compliance.
What doesn't work in your experience?
Three things: cold one-off posts (no follow-through, no narrative), forced ad reads in unrelated content (audiences sniff it instantly), and creative locked by legal teams that's been edited until it has no edge. The work that wins is integrated, narrative, and trusted. Anything less is a CPM buy with extra steps.
